Information about your English course in LondonPaying for the Course
Payment must be made by credit card using Google Checkout; or Bank Draft or Swift. 50% of the course fee will secure your place in advance and the balance to be paid when you arrive.

Telephone Calls
We expect you to call your family to let them know of your safe arrival. We hope that you will not need to call them again after that unless it is an emergency. We will not charge you for calls you make from our home with our prior agreement.

Mobile Phones
We will lend you a cell phone for your stay with us on a British network because part of your practical lessons includes speaking English over the phone.  You will not be charged for the calls.

Email and Internet
You can have access to the internet and email from one of the computers in our house. You can also use the network printer. There is no extra charge for this.

Electricity
We have our own adaptors for you to use, so you do not have to worry about compatibility.

Water
London's water supply is hard water and can irritate sensitive skin. We have a water softener so our tap water provides softened water.

TV and Radio
We have multi-channel television - digital with a LCD screen in the living room so you can have your say in deciding what to watch. There is a digital radio in your bedroom.

Free time
When there are no lessons, you are free to relax and watch TV, go for a walk, read books or listen to music - we have a large collection of books and CDs. You may also want to go in to London. Your course is planned so that we are in London on Thursday afternoons, to coincide with the shops staying open until 8 or 9 p.m. On your day off, you may want to visit places of interest such as Stratford-upon-Avon, York, Oxford or Cambridge. You may want to go to a coastal town such as Brighton.
